BENAVIDEZ INTERVIEW ON BET ON YOURSELF PODCAST

Get ready for David Benavidez vs. David Morrel on February 1st with a 55-minute interview on the Bet On Yourself podcast with Kieron Williams and Jamel Herring. Benavidez (29-0, 24 KOs) is the WBC Interim Light Heavyweight champ since a one-sided title-winning effort last June.

There’s a lot of animosity in this fight. I don’t like David Morrell and he don’t like me.”

On Canelo avoiding him:
If he says he can beat me why not come beat me and make the biggest bank possible?

I want to give myself the hardest fights I could possibly give myself because I want to get myself in the head space where I’m used to that.”

On his career goals:
